It’s a gorgeous metallic blue on the outside with the single (more modern) gold stripe. There are just the hints of surface corrosion, which sadly all Robinson R44s of this era have.

The interior is unmarked in tan leather, and it has the extra lights for landing – so a directional indicator and artificial horizon are also pre.......

The helicopter has hardly been used for a year now since the owner is one of those lucky chaps who has more than 1 helicopter so he usually flies his 500! But it is started up once a month to keep everything running nicely. Subject to the agreed price, 59 will come complete with a fresh annual.

I went to see MG in April and I was impressed. This one is in very good condition.

It’s a super silver colour – with a greenish strip, and is complimented by grey velour seats and interior.

Again, it is a pretty basic Robinson fit, with bubble windows and a VOR being the most noteworthy extras. And yes, it too has the ubiquitous Skyforce IIIc GPS!

I've been flying for a long while, but most of the R22s I fly are coming towards the end of their lives. Not so with CBVL! It's like flying a nearly new machine.

Built in 2002, the hours were flown off in 6 years and towards the end of 2008 CBVL underwent a complete re-build. Done by a very competent engineer in the UK, you can tell it isn't a factory re-build, but don't let this put yo.......

This makes it ideal for a training school, but not so good for long distance trips. You’ll also notice that it uses less fuel than a Beta or Beta II.

This one has had a complete overhaul by very experienced technicians and is ready for sale right now.
