Summary

G-RATA is one of the best R22 Beta IIs I've flown.

Maintained since new by Sloane Helicopters it is in superb condition inside and out.

And the technical records are absolutely first class -- Sloane really have done a fantastic job both with the record keeping and the maintenance.

It's been in Mallorca for most of its life. Always hangared, and cleaned with fresh water once a week, you can see it has been well looked after.

The former owner had a beautiful re-spray 3 years ago in dark metallic blue and it offsets the dark leather seats. There's no wear or U/V degradation on the interior firewall.

It's never had an over-speed, or a heavy landing and it is incredibly smooth in flight. There's hardly a trace of vibration, at any speed.

Built in June 2005, RATA has 7 years to go and over 700 hours left to fly, and the annual is due in July.

Ideally, RATA will suit a private pilot who wants a lovely looking, very clean R22. It is in northern Italy where the new owner will be delighted to meet you. Turin airport is the closest international.
